Gemma Ward announced to join Carey Mulligan, Leonardo DiCaprio, Isla Fisher and Tobey Maguire in the cast of the F. Scott Fitzgerald adaptation.
Most of the memorable female parts in Fitzgerald’s Jazz Age tale have already been cast—Mulligan will play Daisy Buchanan, Fisher appears as other woman Myrtle Wilson, and recent drama school graduate Elizabeth Debicki landed the role of lady golfer Jordan Baker. That leaves… well, no one major, but possibly Wilson’s sister Catherine, or her New York friend Lucille McKee.
Source mention that shooting on the film starts next week in Luhrmann and Ward’s native Australia.
